What's pushing the bell, those 40 clanrats? I'd like to see that unit bigger, as well as far more bodies in the stormvermin (and I'd suggest the banner of eternal flame or something skaven-y on them, in place of the +1CR). How to do this? As drastic as dropping the 30 clanrats (not sure what you had in mind for them beyond the ratter), or grinding up smaller things: the orb engineer, those giant rats (or you could make them into 5+1 'rat darts' or combine into one bigger unit of 32 + packies), some items here and there. Actually, without putting on my gloves, finding the chainsaw and tearing into the list, here's my wishlist: (-) SMT on the seer doesn't seem too useful (mine runs the dragonbane gem for talisman) (+) I'd suggest at least a charmed shield on the BSB (that's all mine has and surprisingly he survived his last GT intact?!) (-) I get what the orb dude does, but if you need points he should be on the block, barring your personal favor (+) More clannrats pushing bell (5+) (-) Even out slaves for a few points? Those 14 points could go into more giant rats or something (+) More stormies! 10-20 more (and I'd say more like 20 as I know what 30 does: not much), and find a more useful banner (FIRE or under-empire or something) (+/-) Reduce giant rats to 5+1 darts or combine into 32+6 assault group, or maybe simply add some packies as is (16+4)? I'm really not sure what you yourself do with them at this size. What is your plan with the 30 clanrats? Assassin-delivery service? Engineer / BSB bunker? Ratling babysitter? So there you be. It looks like it's got a number of the tools to play decently-competitive tournamenthammer, but it mostly feels spread too thinly across these small units. - Salvage

I'd drop the ruby ring engineer, and the Orb engineer.
Points saved should beef up clan rats (+10 more per unit) and storm vermin(as many more as you can get).
You simply won't have enough power dice to take advantage of having a level 4, two level 1's, and bound spell.
I like the assassin a lot, I'd stick him in with the pusher unit. He can solve a lot of problems that might try and whack the bell in melee.

Well my plan was to tie up units with the bell after whittling them down with lots of magic missle type attacks, then try and work for an outflank with the giant rat squads. the slaves are just there as bait to draw in charging units then flee and allow stronger units to assault them. im loving the suggestions so far. maybe my game mechanics arnt up to snuff yet for adepticon but hopefully ill pick up some local tournies to practice. is so many units just to unwieldy to use?

I thought the bell didn't really want to be in H2H if at all possible?

The bell not wanting in combat comes down to how you build your list around the bell.
I was a big believer in the "Bell never sees combat" group, but Boss has had quite a bit of success with putting the bell in combat when pushed by a big unit of SV.
Just look up some of his games in the Bat Rep section.
