A custom Warbuggy I made out of AoBR Deffkopta and some SM bike parts, its the first real conversion I've ever done, I'm sorry bout the low quality of the images.

Was curious what others might think of it and I'm considering making more. If anyones interested I'd be happy to go into detail about its construction

Great conversion, though the tail rotor from the Deffkopta looks a little out of place.

Agreed. A tad more chopping would go a long way towards making this otherwise successful conversion look like a buggy, not a rotorless kopta on wheels.

Do you think just the rotor and its cowling should go or the tail fin thingy under the rotor should go too?

Personally, the rotor doesn't bother me, it looks like a truely useless part on an Ork vehicle, which almost all parts are anyway..

Thanks everyone for your thoughts, I think I'll try removing the rotor parts on the next one I build to see how it looks. After all, ork stuff looks good if its not to uniform.

I agree with the rotor looking out of place, but maybe he uses it to help drift

My only other thought would be that using SM bikes will look too clean, new, and un-orky.

Maybe some glyphs, more dakka, random armor bits, and rivets.

Got a few new pics to share

First: A few higher quality pics of me first buggy with some added decorative bits

Second: Pics of my second Warbuggy and I've removed the tail rotor as its been suggested

So now that it can be seen without a tail rotor which do you prefer?

It's another great conversion job, but I would suggest removing the tail itself too, or at least filling in or change the shape the space where the rotor was.

Back again, here is my third buggy to round out the squadron

I removed both the tail rotor and fin, I took the fin peices and attached them onto the rear of the bike parts.

And here is a shot of the whole squadron

Could have put a gas tank or some sort of carge box on the rear in place of the rotor. even a basket with a wacked out grot maybe. awesome ATV/buggys either way.

Looks pretty cool, but why do you keep the main rotor arm? I mean, the thing behind the drivers seat?

Mostly a function of me being lazy, was plannin on putting a spot light or something up there or fill it in with green stuff at least.

Good idea, wish I had bits that could qualify as a fuel tank or what not.

I'll probly be making a new post soon, working on my last buggy, making this one a Big Shoota type, and I'll work on setting up a step by step guide to their construction.

Thanks everyone for feedback, it means alot to me to hear what everyone thinks
