I don't know why, but I never quite trusted those "free to play" games. Played them quite a bit in the past, but I have a feeling these kinda sites' privacy policy is a bit fishy. After all these years I'm still getting third party spam emails... sold my e-maill adress here and there?
These games just seem to me like ways to earn money with advertisements through a mediocre game. Also, paying players usually get huge advantages over the non-paying players in these kind of games, which is another way they suck money from you... by showing how awesome you "can be"!
I think I'd rather spend a couple of bucks on steam and get something really worth playing (and hey, they got free-to-play now, too!)
That game you linked to might be cool and all, but I think my days of free-to-play-on-random-sites is over.
