I'm wanting to start a new DE army, just not sure where to start. I want it to be up close so I'm thinking wyches in raiders and trueborn with blasters in venoms. Anyone have any tips or can point me in the right direction.

Sounds like youre on the right track.
Get hellions, there brilliant.
A couple of ravagers to back it up and your rockn.
I think you may want bigger trueborn units. I dont think 6 is enough for any dark/eldar squads for that matter.
Keep them decent sized, keep them fast.

4 trueborn with 4 blasters on a venom is awesome. Ravagers are awesome. The jet fighter also does very well. IMHO hellions not so much, unless really well protected and supported. Wyches with shard nets work very well with an archon packing a clone field. ( denial of attacks ) beast master units also work well. I would avoid bikes, and mandrakes. Scourges and the haemey stuff I haven't used too much so won't comment.
