-
HQ & lesser Elites options for Libby & Chaplain. (or else fix the 6th ed rules to include upto 3-4
HQ's in any list)
- better psychic powers. Most are ho-hum while a couple are 'epic win', let's see something other than 2-3 no-brainers please!
- Stormraven! If only because I want one for my White Scars I'm just starting... (call me selfish, but I think it fits the theme pretty well!)
- Equiment costed appropriately. Storm shields are a bit pet peeve of mine... Cost them like the
BA book or else drop them to 4++ so they're not such an easy choice on everything that can take them.
- Rhino/Razorback combo kit. Plus give me back my option for the multi-melta turret please! (I converted 2 of 'em for my old salamanders army, now they're useless!)
- Give predators the option for heavy flamer sponsons. (again, I converted one for my sallies, too bad I can't use it anymore...)
- New Veterans plastic kit. Add options like say 1x power toy, 1x power fist, 1x pair of lightning claws, 2x plasma pistol, 1x heavy flamer, 3x combi-weapons (one of each), 5x bolter arm sets, 5x pistol/
ccw arm sets, 4-5 chapter specific shoulder pads (smurfs, scars, sallies, raven guard, fists) per box.
Sure it'll be one of those annoyingly must have 5-man boxes which leaves you with tonnes of extra bits, but I'd buy at least 3 or 4 myself because they'd be packed full of epic-awsome-sauce!
- Less focus on "Ultramarines are THE BEST space marines and everyone wants to be just like them!" please. Dorn wasn't a blind sheep and Russ used Girlyman's book to wipe his arse!
I'd be happy with that honestly. Codex marines are pretty fleshed out as it is, it'd be nice if
GW would look at the 6th ed book as a chance to polish the army and fix-up the glaring goofs while giving back a few of the older options to open up more themed play. (ie: more pyromaniac love for the Sallies & an Iron Hands named character!)
