My question is,against which power does enemy have cover save(I know for mind war),for example "doom".In the codex it says that for farseer it doesnt require to have line of sight to the target to cast it,and for the warlocks it says they dont need to take psy tests? Can you people answer and confirm some of this stuff, thanks.

You can only take Cover Saves when you take a wound. Doom does not 'cause a wound and so you cannot claim cover from it.

Yes the Farseer needs to pass a psychic test.
It's worth noting that the warlock "powers" do not.

Mind War, Eldritch Storm, and Destructor are the only PSA. However, Destructor does not require a psychic test (Warlock ability), and does not allow cover save (template weapon).

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Which template is used for destructor, and are you sure that no cover-save is allowed against it..because I havent red anywhere that enemy may not take cover save against that attack?

It is a flamer template because the weapon range is "template". If it were something else, the weapon type would be "blast". Since it is "template", no cover saves are allowed, because that is a fundamental rule associated with template weapons.

Correct. Eldar Warlocks do not have to take tests to use their powers.

The FAQ answer on this refers to the old SitW, so I would ignore it - it just doesnt make any sense.
The only way to comply with both is to roll 4D6 removing the highest and then testing on 3D6

Ok,and does warlock count as single HQ choice, for example I have 3 groups of 5 wraithguards and I upgrade 3 warlocks to spiritseers to support them, does that count as 3 HQ choices or only farseer and indipendent character count as HQ choice?

Farseer annd warlocks (unit) are a single HQ choice. (though when you deploy them in dawn of war each counts as a choice) Warlocks in other units are part of that unit only you don't need a farseer to take them. (Though from the look of things they may work similarly to Necrons and space wolves in the next codex)

Nos I disagree, and here's why:
I'm basing the following off the Eldar FAQ, regarding Runes of Witnessing vs Runes of Warding. I posted the answer verbatim and changed the only relevant part.
Proceed as follows: when the Farseer attempts to use a psychic power, roll 3D6. Consider the two lowest
results for the purposes of passing the test (ignoring the highest result). Then, if if any two of the 3D6 were double 1's or 6's, the Farseer suffers a Perils of the Warp attack (do not do this if the Farseer has already suffered such an attack because of the lowest two results being a double 1 or double 6).

Let me ask you this then, I roll 4d6, getting 1, 2, 6, 6. Drop the highest, leaving me with 1, 2, 6 (still passes Ld). I no longer have double 6's, but I initially rolled two 6's. Would I suffer PotW?

No, because you only "took the test" on 3D6, not 4D6. Same as with normal Runes you take the test on 2D6, despite having rolled 3 initially.

Hence the reason we need updated FAQS that deal with new codices accordingly...

No, the last of the 3rd edition codexes has now been updated ( GK, SoB, and Necrons were the 3 holdouts.
Black Templar are currently the oldest codex around, followed by Tau, and then Eldar, DA, CSM. Orks and Daemons are the only other 4th edition codexes still around, but those are both geared for 5th.

PotW only allows Invuln saves, which must be re-rolled if successful.
