I found this guide too useful! Now my dire avengers look awesome and much better than anything else I've painted... but I don't know how to do the damn kilt-thing on their back. It sucks compared to the rest of the avengers.

@Palmar: My own dire avengers are from the Ulthwe Craftworld so I painted the back tabard black in the same way as the other black areas on the model.
