I have just finished school... forever and am looking for something to take up my time (until work takes over).

I was thinking of doing either a Lion 'el Johnson or Lemun Russ conversion (Possibly both) , so my question is what would be a good base model or models to use? Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Are you limited to GW? Scibor makes some great 'not primarch' models and Reaper has this great fellow

Leave the wings off and you'd have a great start for Johnson, the cloak he's wearing is a lion skin with the head on the shoulder.

If you're doing GW look for some of the true scale tutorials to make your primarch bigger and beefier.

Oh i think that lemun russ kit is spectacular, but not what im looking for. However the reaper model looks quite stunning, also i have seen the scibor minatures and might look into them a little more. Thanks for your help.
