My guess is that the base is Chaos black, with Dark Angels Green on top of that in the corners then with a ligher green small on top of that is that right?

I think you're talking about lining or edging? You want to line the edges in a light color of green and then do a very fine edge on top of that with a mix of that green and some white.

The way I paint it is using a Chaos Black basecoat followed by a watered down highlight of Dark Angels Green around the edges. Then I paint progressively thinner highlights of Snot Green and Scorpion Green.
