Wow, awesome. Looks like it would be some great scenery to play Infinity on (not that Ive played, but I would love to).
The idea of using storage boxes though? Brilliant! I bet they're handy in a pinch when you need to store stuff for extra space too

But truly, brilliant idea, and excellent execution.

Outstanding! You have a keen eye for material for model projects.

I would also love to know what boxes (and any other materials) were used. I have been trying to figure out how to make something like this and it would fit exactly my needs.

Nicely done D. What night are you guys playing Infinity up at Total Escape? I think we are going to do Wednesday Infinity at Dark Matter.

Thanks!

I don't have a 'night', I only played with the new buildings once! Let me know when your night is and I will come down with my terrain for show and tell and share!

I am working on a second production run of more additions! I'm doing city tiles, gangways, overpasses, additional windowless floors, door additions and a red example for a medical hab.

I'm hoping to finish these over the long weekend. I will try and ad more images once I have some more!

EDIT: Im still stunned at how much terrain one needs for infinity, so much! And a tiny pittance of figs by comparison, it's like backwards 40k almost...

It does need a ton of terrain. My Haqq/North Africa buildings were a great buy, but you do need a lot of them.

Fantastic execution on the terrain idea! Infinity does take significantly more terrain then 40k, but at least you never have to worry about your terrain getting nerfed into the ground

I've got to ask - did you glue the boxes together? Because if not you not only have scenery, but a handy way to transport models (just add a little padding inside).

Looks great from the outside. Any plans to add interiors to your container buildings (or show us more detailed pics of the scratchbuilt ones - hint hint )?

Sadly I did not get to the shop over the thanksgiving day weekend to finish new pieces, but rest assured, I WILL return to this thread with AT LEAST more images of the existing stuff, and possibly more of the new construction when it gets done!

I got walkways and platform gangplanks now!

I have billboards with Oceania Propaganda as well!

More to come!

Thanks!

9" x 5" x 2-1/4" h

There are several in that size, just the number of internal compartments changes, not a big deal to use any of them, the one compartment ones are the best, as they have no dividers inside.

Yeah, I can't find these containers anywhere. Only place I've found that has them is The Container Store and they want $5 each. :(

I cant believe you guys are complaining about 5 bucks each! Thas a 5$ story to a building, 2 stories 10$, ect. Its pretty reasonable, but cheaper is always better. Think of it this way, it's half the cost of 1 plastic terminator and can probably house 2 squads.
