This would be pretty close to my list. I'm probably putting in Vindies for heavy support and either libbies with shield to protect the vehicles or Astrorath for his red thirst utility which lets you cut away the priests.

Are you content with full mechanization?

what I'm trying to say is would you consider less than full mechanization for a better list overall

Possibly, this isn't a themed list at all. I just wanted to go for target saturation to force difficult choices (with the exception of the Dread, I see him being a sacrifice most games).

It's hard to give you advice because I am such a DoA list promoter. My thought trail always stems off in that direction. I personally used a hybrid mech/DoA list and went almost entirely DoA from there. However, scouts are always better than a whirlwind in my opinion. For the exact same points value you get 5 scouts with a missile launcher an camo cloaks. You can infil, provide support, and pin all the same. looking over the list it seems you have a few things out of place there...

first off meph. he is awesome in general but doesnt fit to well in this kind of list...id drop him in favor of a libby or 2 with shield and fear just so your vehicles have a greater chance for survivability and getting units to run off board will help out alot

as for your RAS in razors id give them melta guns, mainly because there will be things that you will have trouble cracking open mainly anything with AV14. i personally dont like that i need 5+ to do anything to a land raider. also you might want to consider going las/plas on your razors. they work out well for me with having the ability to deal with both tanks and infantry alot better than a single shot.

as for your elites...id drop down to one priest. you really dont want to be out of your vehicles unless it is absolutely necessary. you will need to be careful when you bail out. also drop the dread, it cant do the sit back and shoot tactics that your razors can do. it also cant keep up with the rest of your army if you go balls out and advance your vehicles.

also for your heavies. nothing you have fits this list. id try out with 2 vindis. the whirlwind can really only hurt infantry and still sucks against them. and the pred you really either need to drop it in favor for what i suggested earlier or go with another one

if you have any points left id try to go for an honor guard with at least 2 melta guns and a razor. if you go this way then you can drop the lone priest as the honor guard will come with one

TLLC is not the best option for you. Priests are not so important. The whirlwind is useless.

Mephiston does feel right at home though.
