Hello, Dakka! Happy Thanksgiving! So, what will you be doing tommorow? For me, just a classic day of stuffing my face.

1.) My girlfriend's family

2.) My parent's

3.) My extended family (my mom is the black sheep and doesn't get along with most of my family)

Safe to say I'm wearing my loose pants tomorrow

Oh wow, well if its a true American Thanksgiving dinner, Id suggest, either dont eat at all that day, or have a very small breakfast. Trust me, youll thank me later.

Well the wife usually does the cooking, but shes working a short shift mid day (getting double time for it ) so its up to me to cook the food this year! Not a problem, as I rather enjoy cooking. And I think Ill actually watch the football game even.

I'm pretty excited because my sister decided to host it at her house this year. Long story short, I don't have to cook anything, and my sister is a better cook than I, so it's a win all around.

On the downside, I'm at work and will be until 8am. It's not like we'll be carving the turkey for breakfast, but it would have been nice to sleep the night before like the other daywalkers.

I am having a couple of friends over, my housemate is having a friend over.

I am making Turkey, Wild rice, sausage and pinenut stuffing, gravy from the drippings and gizzards, roasted garlic mash, roasted sweet potatoes with pecans and spiced maple syrup glaze, roasted squash, gren beans and corn with bacon, cheese popovers, salad, and cranberry chutney, pumpkin pie and key lime pie.

There will of course be alcohol to drink and games to play.

Did you see the size of the turkey that The President pardoned?

Bwahahah. Just believable enough to be funny.

I made pasta-- manicotti stuffed with a ricotta mixture (sharp white cheddar, colby-jack, provologne, romano, and some onion and garlic powder), with vodka sauce coating the bottom of the pan and over the manicottis, topping it with colby-jack and romano. And some cheddar-based macaroni and cheese and a supply of toasted bread crumbs to suit those of less refined tastes.

Someone else is bringing the turkey, mashed potatoes, etc.

My missus is making a fake thanksgiving dinner here in England and were having 12 friends over. She even got her mum to mail over some pumpkin in a can so we can make a pie.

Its going to be almost like the one I went to last year in California, except this year we will be drinking 8-10 pints of bitter in the local pub before hand, and we wont be able to kill any Indians after we eat because there aren't any in Yorkshire.

We are arming Syrian rebels who support ISIS, who is fighting Iran, who is fighting Iraq who we also support against ISIS, while fighting Kurds who we support while they are fighting Syrian rebels.

There are loads of Indians in Yorkshire! Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis...

Don't kill any of them, mind.

Incidentally, there is, apparently, a Native American buried in Linthorpe Cemetery in Middlesbrough. Which I find quite interesting.

This Thanksgiving will be a rather small affair as my family all live several States away, and my Missus' Family have all gone out of town...so it's just The Missus, myself and the kids.
I'm cooking a "small" meal ( Turkey, spiced sausage stuffing, candied sweet potato casserole, baked beans, collards and biscuits + pies) and the four of us will munch then lounge.
...Hope everyone has a happy Turkey day.
