HIDING IN METAL BAWKSES!

Are there any fluff examples showing the gracefulness and agility of Dark Eldar? I know that in that one IG book involving the Tallarn mentions the DE, but is there anything else?

Also, does anyone know what page in the DE Codex I can find the part where it talks about Imperials having to slow down videos of DE just to see what they are doing?

The beginning of Eisenhorn: Malleus has the Ordo Xenos engaging a cell of Dark Eldar and human collaborators, a Haemonculi's insane reflexes and ability to rip through even hardened warriors is emphasized.

They are described in Index Xeno as being capable of dodging las-fire and kicking back thrown frag-grenades right before they detonate.

And the slowing down video thingy is also in Index Xenos, they had to slow a pict recording to a quarter speed just to make out individual Dark Eldar (Five of them) as they slaughtered through 63 civilians.

I am sure it is mentioned in the DE Codex. I recall seeing something like that in there, but I could not find it.
In any case, I think out of all the races, I would want to be DE. Gonna die anyway, might as well have the most fun
Though I guess that could be better applied to Orks, but meh.

In what manner could it be applied to orks?

The whole "having fun part".
Maybe not the "Gonna die anyway" part, but still.

Ultramarines Capitan, Uriel Ventris had quite a lot trouble hitting Dark Archon Kershak (or whatever his bizzare name was) in a book "Nightbringer".
I loved the story - Marienes were not uber-indestructible all over it - there was lots of info about Dark Eldar, Adeptus Arbitres and even the good 'ol Nightbringer and his Necrons

There is also a Dark Eldar in the 3rd book of the Grey Knights Omnibus and he is described as incredibly swift and agile. He was a gladiator fighter.

Who? The GK or DE? If you are talking about the DE, then that is probably a Wych.

In the book Dark Apostle, a group of word bearers go up against the dark eldar and there are several mentions of the agility, my favourite is a rocket being fired at a reaver jetbike whilst flying down a corridor who dodges it and then spins it around to fly back.

There is another one Daemonifuge which spends part of it's time in the gladitorial pits of commaragh.

Pretty cool
There are examples if I recall correctly of DE dodging bullets.

2 reasons
1. They're Eldar
2. As a general rule they're off their heads on drugs

I think these are most likely

It's too bad the invul save only works in CC.

But anyways, in the fluff the DE can dodge bolter fire.

Well, I kinda figured when the poster above me said bolter fire at point blank, I figured firing in CC was what he meant. Might've misinterpreted.

Lelith still gets the 4++ against ranged. Lelith is obviously not the norm, but she is certainly an excellent example of DE agility.

Well...yeah
She has a 4++ overall, which is upgraded to a 3++ in CC.

Both of them were, but they were forced to fight by khornate dudes. The DE was a mandrake BTW

Mandrakes aren't DE. We don't quite know what they are. But they are scary.

In Blood Gorgons (Henry Zou), the main character (CSM) marvels at the reflexes of a Dark Eldar mercenary as he pilots a small craft through a larger Imperial vessel. He's so impressed by the Dark Eldar's reflexes that he postulates that their almost inconceivable reflexes could be attributed to some form of psychic prescience.

Hm, that's interesting. Been wanting to read stuff by Zou, but I thought Dark Eldar are physically incapable of psychic ability, since its atrophied from non-use.

Most dark Eldar are capable of useing psychic powers, just they don't in fear of Slannesh. But that does not really matter, because this is from the imperial point of view and of course they have limited knowledge of the Eldar.

OP:

There is a lot in WD 311 UK from what I have read on Lex. A few things that have been already stated. Plus a bit about being able to fight in the pitch black by relying on other senses than sight.

There is a little bit on Eldar reflexes too.

I'm not sure but IIRC the DE codex states that their psychic ability has shrunk to almost nothing.
