So I finally finished what I consider to finally be a few table top quality paint jobs. Figured this would be worthy of my first post on the forums.

My main army is the Iron Warriors seen first and I have about 4000 points of old crappy paint to strip and redo.

I'm also starting a Black Templar army as my second choice. I'm really happy with how they look on the table.

and the templars...

Hey man I think you've really got something to be proud of this those BT, I can see a lot of progression in relation to the IW. Keep up the good work!

Good work man. Those BT are great, and the iron warriors are not bad either.

Guilliman and the Ultramarines are like Manchester United, everyone hates them because they are so awesome!

Same opinion as LeetBix, BT look way better than the IW neat edge highlighting on the BT!

Awesome, at first *no offence* I thought your models looked very rushed. But when I saw the BT I realised you do have good painting skills, the highlighting on the armour edges is really cool ^^

Thank you. I really like the BT more than the IW too. I did the IW in more of a speed painting method and while they look good massed on the table they suffer close up. The BT I took more time since I think they deserve it (I love the look of black templars).

Next is to try out my green stuff skills in a couple conversions for the IW but I dunnno how that will turn out.

I'm going to echo everyone else and say the BT are superior to the IW.

Looks great!

Tip: wash the gold plate devlan mud and corner-wash with thraka green! looks very cool and aged on dreads with metallic coffin plates

I think the templars need a better contrast color on the outside of their bases. Like a green maybe.

5000+pts- Strip and paint project.
~2000pts- 90% painted

Your BTs look awesome, real solid quality... well done

The Chaos ones, however, look like they need the paints to be watered down a little better. The termie could sure use a wash too.
