Well, here's the Brother Goriel that I've painted to match the rest of my Squad Lorenzo. I'm not sure that I have a whole lot else to say about him, but I'll answer any questions anyone has.

Also, I've posted him up to CMON for anyone who cares to vote.

Thanks.

The Space Hulk minis are all really terrific. For many years, my experience with termininators saw them as guys who aren't very dynamic. While that changed in 40k with some of the newer terminator kits (and bumping them up to 40mm bases) it took 3rd ed Space Hulk to really finish drive the point home.

The barrels look a bit narrow. Other than that, aces.

I got a question! Why no floating gore?! They're in space, and the thing's spine just got ripped out. Just looking at this model, I can tell that you easily have the potential to use a hot glue gun and red wash.

Another question: what colors did you use to paint the metallic parts of the storm bolter?

Well, given the way that everyone is on the ground, and not a single mini is taking advantage of weightlessness, I can only assume that the artificial gravity on the Space Hulk is holding up.

Also, the artificial atmosphere is probably working just fine too, given that Sergeants Lorenzo, Gideon, and Librarian Calistarius don't have helmets on (and only Gideon has a possible breathing device).

The silver metals on the storm bolter started out with P3 Greatcoat Grey. This was given a wash in a rusty brown color (Bloodstone) and highlighted up using Frostbite.

Ah, forgot about helmet-less guys. Good point, I use all-helmet stand-ins for my makeshift ghetto space hulk. The metal is ingenious, by the way. I should try that out on my tau.
