Hello all,
Just introducing myself - I signed up to the boards today although I have been reading some posts and articles for the last few months.
I started painting 40K models around 20 years ago, I remember being suspended from school at the lovely age of 7 and my mother not being able to get anyone to babysit at such short notice.. so I went to games workshop where I sat and painted a couple Space Wolf marines  I never fully got into the gaming side of things but over the next few years I painted models every now and then (sadly I didnt have the sort of money at that age to buy lots of stuff!)
so a long story short, I recently moved house and have decided to get back into painting again as I always found it very enjoyable and relaxing. I recently purchased the Black Reach box set as I guessed that would be a good way to get my painting hand back and will start painting them probably in the new year - I have a planned delivery of around £200 worth of stuff to arrive in the next week - mainly brushes, paints and a couple of tools as well as a Space Marine battle force.
maybe I will post some pics of stuff on here if I get time, would be great to get some feedback - Im currently thinking about what chapter to paint the marines
Also one of the main things I read on here before signing up were the recent airbrushing article as well as the blood angels army someone was keeping everyone updated on, he also used an airbrush and it has defeinetly made me think about getting one once I build my basic skills up a bit. But I think everyone who saw or read those posts about airbrushes basically wants one too! they were great 
Anyway, look forward to reading some more stuff on here,

I will have a little Ultramarines force at some point :p as I have some Forge World bitz that are for them - but I want to start off with something else for the Black Reach boxset.

I rock the Ultramarine and I use Scouts, so win win, but they are super common so good luck with surprising enemies. ALTHOUGH, Campaigns are cooler to see when there are tons and tons of Marines versus everything else. Not to mention how cheap you can find Marines on E Bay.
