How are you defining a shooty army?

I assume it's a list that includes at least two Ironblasters, possibly a Stonehorn, lots of Belchers with some Maneaters to snipe with.

Gnoblars to help fill core choices?

Dude how many gnoblars do you own? i like the idea though, minimum core, ironblasters, sniping maneaters, belchers and characters with missiles (if possible). would be worth it just to see your opponents face when you say your playing an ogre gun-line

I have faced one fronted by a death mage and two fire bellies..... was not a fun time for me

Haha minimum core of 10 man globlar trapper units and the rest is all shooty.

Oh the amount of gnoblars is crazy but leadies get quite a few shots its kind of awesome.

Yah some lil Lvl 1 who walks around throwing stubborn on gnomblars and such.

He also runs the 4 stonehorn list.... THAT is a fun list

I dont own one, but the idea of an enormous lot of belchers shooting and walking towards the enemies and then using grape shots at S10, or charging is.. awsome!

4 Stone horn but thats like 1k soooo crazy haha. This is something hard to kill and now there are three more my a thundertusk and those things would be even scarier because they go before everyone but elves.

I've been getting favorable results with a firebelly casting flaming sword of rhuin on a unit of leadbelchers. But it isn't an entirely shooty army. more some decent fire support for the bulls and stonehorn. They can decimate a unit with average rolls in a 6 strong unit.

I kinda want to build a gnoblar centered list now. Gnoblar Trappers and Fighters, Gnoblar Scraplauncher, and add all the lookout/sword/tooth/luck gnoblars i can to the few ogres I have to take.

I'm still undecided on the shooty list, as it reminds me of playing 40k Orks.

You throw buckets of dice and sometimes the result is fantastic but generally it's a bit meh...
