This is a commission to paint a full Blood Angels army. The army will be supplied fully built so only painting and basing is required. The client has also supplied some, previously painted, miniatures and he would like me to match these new models to the samples ones precisely.

Here's a picture of the army as it arrived at the studio:



This breaks down to:

15 x Honour Guard
30 x Vanguard Veterans
20 x Death Company
10 x Tactical Marines
9 x Assault Marines
12 x Spacehulk Terminators

The first models to be completed were the Tactical Squad and the client was very happy with how precisely I'd matched them to the figures he'd provided:

Looks great so far. You should show a comparison of the old minis to the new ones so we can all see your match.

Very nice. I particularly like the battle damage on the assault marine who almost looks as though he's landed into a face full of slugga fire

I too like the marine taking fire, very well posed figure and the bullet holes speak well for the model.

Thanks for all the comments guys The marine at the front of the Tac squad is one of the old ones.

The client was the one that built all the models so I can't take any credit for the poses. The one taking rounds is definitely my favorite though.

Wahhhh, basically the same ideas I had planned for my BA's chappy dread, master of the fleet in a DC squad, even the ruin base on the dreadnought :/ grrrz, anyway painting is top notch looks very good, may I ask how much it costs to have an Amy of that size painted? (pm me if you don't want it out public) can't wait to see the rest

Looking good. The red's really nice and vibrant, and the power weapons contrast very nicely.
