For those who haven't encountered this range before, Guild of Harmony is a small (so far) Australian company founded by multiple Demon-winner Sebastian Archer to sell his own sculpts.

His latest release, following in the footsteps of the steampunk Dorothy that he created for the inaugural Auscon convention, is a steampunk themed mechanic named Tinker Belle.

Shown here in resin. Will also be cast in metal, apparently.

Obviously feminine without being tastelessly sexualized. Amazingly the pose makes it seem actually competent at steampunkerymechanics.

I like it very much, actually. It may be a nice sub-in as Malifaux's Kaeris.

EDIT: I'm actually offended that I hadn't known about this range before. There's some rather great sculpts there, but the prevalence of non-final white metal photographs makes me hesitant. Do they make good molds?

There's some brilliant sculpts there - I'm with Ab, wish I'd seen them earlier. I'd seen Dorothy, but some of those others are great...

Sculpted by Sebastian Archer, eh? From memory, he's won Golden Demons, Slayer Swords, everything going, and he can sculpt brilliantly as well!!!

Wow, he has some nice stuff! Wish there was more continuity to it (like, more steampunk, rather than just these 2) but very, very cool.

I believe his casting is done through Eureka Minis, another Oz company that make their own models and also offer casting and mould-making services. Their own models are a bit hit-and-miss sculpt-wise, but their casting is top-notch.

I have a whole bunch of GoH minis that I picked up at Auscon earlier this year (including Dorothy in resin) and they're all beautiful casts.

I suspect the continuity will come as he builds the range. I sort of get the impression he was starting out just sculpting whatever he felt like trying out. Going by his comments over on Frothers, I think he's looking to build the steampunk range out a little, hence this latest mini to follow Dorothy.

And here I bought Reaper's Dita the Steampunk Witch for my steampunk-loving friend for Christmas. She would have LOVED the Tinker Belle.

BTW, he has some amazing tutorials laying out precisely how to achieve the results shown and clearing up some fine points that I've always wondered about.

Thanks for the notification!

Pretty cool, though I personally would do without the wings
