Apparently I had a dream last about this site, and when I went to log on, I was banned for some odd reason. I think perma banned even. Weird right? What the hell could that dream mean? Any dream experts out there?

That you spend a great deal of time on Dakka, so it's in your subconscious? Dreams, IIRC, are semi-conscious manifestations of the process where your brain is sorting out and processing and storing the memories from the day. If your day is full of Dakka...

It means that you know you did something so bad that you deserve to be banned for it.

Nah, man. I have dreams with Dakka somehow involved sometimes.

It's usually the web page on in the background computers, and even once, I had a dream that I got a Computer Virus from a link off of Dakka.

Dreams are weird, man. I once had this dream where I was playing League of Legends, and on the opposite team was this girl I liked. I kept trying to flirt with her but she wasn't having it, so finally I teleported myself into the Feilds of Justice and destroyed her base myself.

I had a dream about Dakka, once.

I found out that ninety percent of my posts were absolutely inane and that I contributed nothing of value to any threads I post in.

It was after going through the "Fortress Dakka" thread and there were lots of dead hipster zombies involved...

But no I don't think its unusual to have dreams about Dakka...I've had a few myself and I'm definitely not unusual...

Just search for the things that seemed to really stick out to you and you can usually find something that helps it all make sense when you put the pieces together.

FWIW, I had a dream a night or so ago that I started getting gray hair across the center of my head in a band pattern. I freaked out, but then decided to just dye it all silver even though I was unsure if it would look awesome or just make me look older. The dream ended with me about to apply the dye.

When I remember my dreams, they either never make any sense, or are just my mind's way of taunting me.

I had a dream a week ago about walking around town with two fat guys I didn't know, when a policemen shouted 'stop!' and one of the guys told us to run, so we ran in different directions. I was almost caught by two policemen waiting by a statue when one of the fat guys, now oddly devoid of shirt, jumped off the steps next to them like a wrestler and took them both down by landing on them.

Cut to me now oddly running through a nunnery, completely naked. I cut across the courtyard, two nuns gasp and watch as I reach some sort of tennis court where some randomer is hitting the ball over the net (facing away from me). I hear sirens, make a dash for what I think is a gate, whereas it's actually a ladder with a bolt on it. I look out of the tennis court into a field, with a fence at the end, grab the ladder, hold it like a battering ram and charge down the field at the fence, screaming some sort of war cry as police start to enter the field. I reach the fence, swing the ladder over, climb up, ride the ladder down over the other side and run off into boundless countryside, then I wake up.

Feth knows what that means; i've never been in trouble with the law or done anything that i'm worried about legally, nor have I had any strange interaction with nunneries or nuns recently, or tennis, or fat blokes, or wrestling, or fields, or ladders.

Then there's another dream:
Two girls and I get told by the job centre to go and work at some sort of salon/sandwich shop on the fleet of shops near where I used to live (the shop was originally a sandwich shop, then another sandwich shop, now it's a pet grooming parlour with a hairdresser's above it which has always been there). [No idea about this, never particularly liked that fleet of shops, nor interacted with that one in particular. Probably just missing my old house.]

Cut to us huddled together in the covered doorway with it pissing it down outside, on a different street. We then get approached by someone i'm currently quite enamoured with, who tells us she's in a pickle (her words, not mne) and that she likes her boyfriend but also likes someone from Dakka (again, her words, not mine). [Now, this I can understand, and it's my mind taunting me again. I don't know what goes through her mind, but it's wishful thinking on the part of mine, but I know what that much stands for.]

Cut to me in the middle of town (it's always the middle of town, or a town that looks like mine in some parts of my dreams, but heavily modified). I walk through the precinct and out a row of market stalls. I hear some people conversing about something and then for some reason I have to meet my mum and my sister in a car park. I look out opposite the stalls, there's a statue next to me (the same one as it always is in my dreams, Nelson I think) and an empty road, with a car park on one side, and a bridge that leads seemingly over flat grassland on the other.

I go towards the bridge, start climbing the steps, and i'm accosted by a group of people. Then there's an earthquake and I run down the stairs, lava spewing out everywhere, to a room where Lenoard and Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory are walking around commenting on the earthquake and lava. I then realise that the lava and ground around us is actually minecraft lava and ground, so I remove a block of dirt from the wall and jump out, walk over to the car park, and dream ends.

I got the message from the first half of it, but i'll be damned if I understood the rest...

Uhh why would dream of dakka dakka? Why not your Boyz?
At least it was a wet dream about dakka that would make this thread 30x weirder....

I've never dreamt about dakka, but the other night I did have a dream that I invented an SQL script that lets me teleport to any known GPS co-ordinate, and I was using it to hunt down el chupacabra...

Yea I dont know what Id do with myself if that ever happened, I think I love this site Maybe life is really like DarkCity, and I just woke to soon to something going on. Not soon enough to see what it was though, but early enough to know something is going on
