New to WHFB, however, i play 40k seriously, so i need something to keep me amused.
Allways loved squigs, so wanted to makw a squig themed army.
Got the O&G book on order, so i dont yet have it to hand.
So, this brings the problem, what do i take?
Want to make the list more fun than competative, so was thinking bow gobbo's with max fanatics (will be squigs on chains)
So, this brings me the the base of the army.
Squig hoppers and squig herds.
Whats the best way to run them?
Will also be taking bosses on giant squigs.
Need as much help as possible.

Herds are far better than hoppers in my experience and in horde is best.
Also dont forget about manglers

Forgot to mention manglers 
Also have one of them on order.
Seems like it will be a pain to get balanced and stable enough.

Its more the balance of the 2nd squig thats the issue.
The bottom one can have a resin rock under it for support.
The top one however is being held in place by 1 foot and a small amount of chain, which is pretty flimsy.
Might be going for pin-heavy on it.

Could be *really* cool theme. You should do a really giant squig "counts as" arachnarok!
I'd keep fanatics at 9 max. I've played a 2500 point game against an army that was running 24 fanatics. It started to get kinda tedious after a while...

I played against a list running 15. It went from being cool to just being a bit OP and as Zeke said annoying

In that case, ill stick to 9 fanatics at the most.
Might make some squig charriots aswell, easy enough to sculpt larger squigs.
