Do any of you guys have good luck tricks when you play or bad omens when you play games? I have a friend where if the room is cold he thinks his lizards will do poorly. And I always have my bronze zippo when I win and when I forget it I almost always loose.

When not using dice I always have them with the six side facing up on the table. I'm actually really anal about this, and I don't even know why.

Not for Warhammer, but all my Flames of War dice go back into the tin with the 6-sides facing upwards.

This. Every army has it's own set of dice, which reminds me that I need to get newer dice that match my HE.

+1 to having a set of dice for each army. I make the colours match too, so my blue dice go with my Lizardmen, and my green dice go with my Tau (painted green)... whenever I mix them up I seem to roll nothing up 1s and 2s.

I just go with the flow, seems to be based on opponent for me as some will just loose no matter how bad i play.

One of my friends chants when he rolls. 'Come on baby, come on baby, let me see it, come on baby'. It gets irritating when he does it. Because he does it every single roll.
One of my other friends plays Judas Priest 'The Hellion' whenever he moves his DE Hellions in 40k. Just as annoying, since its through his phones gakky speaker.
Honestly though, I've never really found anything particularly lucky to do.

I always try and think positive when I pick-up my dice before I roll... Tzeentch tends to have other ideas however.
My friends always;
a) Keep their dice as far away from me as possible. (lest they start rolling nothing but 1's)
b) Ask me to stand on the other side of the store when I'm not playing so my curse doesn't rub off onto them...
Funny store about my ability to spread bad luck;
Waaaaaaaay back in 2004, I was watching a friend of mine playing his crimson fists vs Phil Kelly's 'nids in a tourny. (I had already lost my game quite spectactularly!) Phil assaulted my friend's immobilised land raider with both of his tyrants for a total of 11 auto-hitting MC attacks!
The first 6 rolls resulted in a surprising amount of 1's & 2's, so Phil kindly asked me to watch from the other side of the room... (I'm used to it, honest! ) My friend started pulling me back closer to the table as Phil continued rolling and thus failing to land even a glancing hit.
Finally Phil was able to gently push me far enough away that his final attack rolled a pen, he rolled for it, got a 6 and exploded the damned tank! My friend pulled me back just as Phil rolled to wound his tyrants. 1st tyrant was wounded & failed it's 3+ save, putting it below half of it's starting wounds. 2nd tyrant was wounded, failed it's 2+ and lost it's last wound!
Game eneded in draw thanks to that...
Ended up costing both of them top spot in the tourny, or so they each insisted.
I blame my ancestors for trying to kill the Pope and thus earning the church's eternal wrath.
