Hi there,
In today’s newsflash we bring you the first part of our festive jigsaw, a last orders reminder for our US, Canadian and European customers and advance notice of our opening hours across the festive period.

Christmas Order Deadlines
We are now well and truly into the festive period and with only 15 days until Christmas, Forge World’s Customer Service team and Despatch warehouse are working around the clock to ensure your orders are shipped as quickly as possible.

We’ve got full details of our imminent order deadlines at the end of this newsletter, but do not fear - there’s still plenty of time to receive your orders before Christmas.

Christmas Jigsaw Part 1
As is traditional at this time of year, we like to tease you with a sneak preview of one of our 2012 releases. Rather than simply showing you a cool model straight away though, we prefer to leave you guessing for a while at what it might be. See part 1 of our Christmas jigsaw below. What could it be?

Forge World Winter Catalogue Supplement Sheet Now Available
You can now download a free PDF of our Winter 2011 supplement sheet from the Forge World website, packed with many of our recent releases such as the Relic Contemptor Dreadnought and Tamurkhan: The Throne of Chaos. It also features a few kits that managed to evade our 2011 catalogue such as the Eldar Wraithseer.

The sheet is perfect as a handy reminder for those last-minute stocking fillers, especially as we can still guarantee pre-Christmas arrival of orders placed via Express delivery worldwide and pre-Christmas delivery via Standard post within the UK.

Forge World Christmas Opening Hours
The Customer Service team are standing by to assist with any and all enquiries you may have - from product availability and hobby advice to helping to explain the difference between a Titan and a Dreadnought to a confused relative.

You can call us on:
0115 916 8177 within the UK,
011 44 115 916 8177 from the US and Canada,
00 44 115 916 8177 from most of Europe.

We will be open right up until Christmas to provide any and all assistance we can. Our opening hours between Christmas and the New Year are:

Saturday 24th December (Christmas Eve): Closed

My guess is a new style of Dragon Ogre.

Definitely not a kroxigor.. It's wearing pants

Could be a fimir since that's the weapon the storm of magic shows it wielding but also dragon ogres would be awesome.. Such cool concepts and some of the worst models

Could be the Bull Centaur for the Chaos Dwarfs (if they redid the style of feet from hooves).

Though I would love to see a Fimir...

On the winter supplement thingy, are those wolf/rat hybrid things new ?

Well from this angle it doesn't look like it has the smaller set of claws that the current Dragon Ogre Shaggoth has.

Actually... Looking at the old Fimir model, and considering the current fad among GW to resurrect old models/races, I could believe it was a Fimir

Indeed they are. That was an "Ooops" on FW's part, as the newsletter announcing them has yet to show up.

Fisrt thought was that GW was going to start doing Wolfen!
But Fimir seems a good guess.

Check out my gallery here
Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

I think it is a Fimir!

It looks like it only has two legs based off the pelvis and base, so that rules out Dragon Ogre.

It has what looks like leather armour on its thigh and arm, which again dont look like the heavy armour a dragon ogre wears.

Doesnt have the design aesthetics or look reptilian enough to be a kroxigor.

It also looks like it has some form of runes carved on the end of its weapon, kinda celtic looking.

God I hope im right!

A little part of me dies when it thinks of a puritan Inquisitor reading the Rites of Damnation to a heretic then throwing him off a ladder through a table.

Lizardmen don't wear pants!

Also FW tends to focus on similar themes based upon what they're currently releasing.. There is nothing that suggests they're doing lizardmen

No scales, I think that would rule out anything Lizardy.

Dragon Ogres?

Isn't one of the stronger rumors that GW proper is re-doing Dragon Ogres?

So, that leaves Fimir, the Wolf/Rat thing, or maybe a Bull Centaur, but with those feet?

The claws on his feet and backwards knee Would suggest a Deamon/Devil type creature, or a lizard/reptilian of some sort. He also has 3 fingers + thumb.

If it's a rat-man, he's hairless. They do have the monsterous rat creature that's hairless. The SKAVEN WARLORD ON BROOD HORROR on the FW site has 3 fingers + thumb and he and his mount are mostly hairless.

If it's anything not a Kroxigor, it'll likely be a Fimir.

It's worth noting, however, that a Kroxigor's scales are usually on the rear of its torso, arms, etc and we're suspiciously not shown the part which has them.

Except for one tantalizing bit.

When you look at the point I put an arrow towards, there is just a hinting of scales leading up to the main body. The talon count for the feet and hands match for a Kroxigor as well.

Indeed. Looks a tad Elvish in terms of the architecture/runework. Would be kinda neat to see a Kroxigor bodyguard from broods trading near the Citadel of Dusk.

What's a Kroxigor? Are those in that new Warhammer Forge book or something?

(Not familiar at all with WH fantasy. Just know it's fun to mix Black Orc bits with my 40k Orks...)

Definitely Fimir. Cool stuff! I wonder if they'll put back all the other dirty aspects of GW lore, lol.

Kroxigors are giant crocodilian creatures whose bodies consist of slabs of sinewy muscle and a massive jaw bristling with razor-sharp teeth. They are exceptionally resilient and can survive a score of blows that would fell a lesser being. Kroxigors are devastating on the battlefield - unleashed as shock troops to break the back of an enemy battleline, they plough into enemy regiments with blood-curdling roars and massacre all before them.

I would just remind people that early next year, WF is releasing "Monstrous Archana" which include a slew of mercenary type species in addition to the bigger monsters. So it could be something completely new.
