Looks like the wolves under-estimated the tyranids. Even I would be wary of rushing my paladinstar (with Draigo) into those bunch of guys. Don't under-estimate an assault tyranid force especially if commandeered by a good general. I learned my lesson from Janthkin.

Wow that was pretty crazy, such a good sport in continuing the slaughter even after that massive defeat in close combat. As soon as I saw the wolfs charge forward I knew it was over, way to many attacks for them to handle. Tough luck franky, I have seen the wolves at black diamonds a few times so I know they can be pretty formidable. Idk even if he had stayed back he didn't have much in the way of shooting so I thought the tyranids had the advantage all along, well played good sirs. The thunderdome has a new champion!!!

So did the Space Wolves trade their old thunderwolf mounts for giant lemmings or what? He should have stayed back, waited for the Tyranids to space out some and rolled up one flank while using the rest of the army to keep the swarm busy. It would have been a close battle that way, but better a near-win then a "Shellacking".

As a Tyranid player, this battle report fills me with indescribable joy. Probably one of the most enjoyable battle reports I've seen yet, mainly because how much fun Reece and Frankie were poking at each other at the end. Had me laughing.

Frekkin Spez wulves got what was coming. I have played space wolves way too many times not to hate them.

What's with all the hate on the tyranids. I think they are a completely viable army.

I'm not sure why everyone thinks nids are weak.... I've never been particularly successful against them, playing Marines and Blood Angels. Granted, I don't take special characters, and my lists aren't the crazy tournament winning netlists, but still. The nids beat me more often than not.
