Here are some PIP pictures of my high elf. The hair and face are pretty much done right now. Im trying to do some true metallic on the brass parts. Im aiming for a glassy/gem look for the green parts. There's still a lot of work to be done on that. Im still uncertain about the silverish highlights on the brass parts, I want to know if I should go for gold instead or any other tips would be helpful. C&C appreciated, the entry isnt do until the 24th and will consider all constructive criticism.

Stunning work there. I think the silver works for the highlights, though I would suggest some deeper shadows on the metal?

Man do I hate the High Elf core models. Conversely I love the paintjob. The skirt mail looks awesome. Cant wait for it to be completed.

The blue took longer than I hoped for. You wouldnt think it, but regal blue is a real pain to glaze on. Tomorrow I will add deeper shadows. I also darkened the face up some more. Right now the eyes are bugging me, but i dont think i can fix it because of the sculpt. He just had weird eyes to start with. I also have to go back and fix a lot of spots where i hit with the blue.

I want him to look super clean and flamboyant. high elves are too snooty to let their stuff get dirty.

Then looking great. Maybe try to polish the shoes some then? Make them a bit reflective with a bit of white maybe? Not sure how to do the effect so can't give any more than that.
