I love the dark atmosphere in this one. Good colourchoice as well for this miniature, a lot better then the studio scheme.

Yup, its ballast. Mixed grey, black and browns with some dark green foliage and I shake it on. The ballast is a mix of different coarse sediment, works great.

Nice model, and a good paint job on there. Not a big fan of fantasy but it looks the business.
