and I guess it can go for trukks also.
Can battlewagon (max move after 13") and trukks (max move after 19") assualt?
If so, where is it in writing because I am getting different answers.

No they cannot, trukks are fast and open topped, so you can move 12 and assault, Battle Wagons are just open topped, so you can move 6 and assault, with a red paint job you can move 13 and 7 on those respectively, but I think this is in the wrong forum..

13" is the max move with disembark and assault for both.
Fast vehicles that move flatout cannot disembark. Automatically Appended Next Post: And 13" means they have RPJ, btw.

This
It's the upside to all ork vehicles being open topped unless upgrades, and also the reason why DE raider/Wych asaults can be up in your face way too quick
RPJ's extra inch is more helpful than some give it credit for, and flat out rushing, then assaulting on turn 2 is an effective tactic, especially if your trucks are shielded by a KFF. The squad sizes are small, but they can still pack a punch.
Turbozooming for a cover save on turn one, then express-delivering hurt on turn two is something DE do quite well.
**edit for clarity**

Fast vehicles don't get a cover save unless they are skimmers. Not sure if you were talking about trukks or DE there.

One caveat. If you give your BW and Ard case upgrade you loose the ability to assault out of one if it moved as it no longer counts as open topped.

This is incorrect, battlewagons are not fast, so only 7 inches with a red paint job.

Opentopped. Check out the section for opentopped in your main rulebook.

an interesting side note RPJ says that the vehicle does not suffer penalties for moving that extra inch, but it still gains the benefits for moving it . Meaning that a RPJ vehicle can move 7 with the ability to still fire as if it moved 6 (one gun and guys) but will be hit as if it moved more than 6(6s) since it moved 7.Trukks and wagons can move 13 (as it does not suffer penalties for going over 12) with the ability to charge afterward since opentop allows for it Trukks can not disembark if it moves more than 13 according to the flat out rule .That is way running gaz in an army with wagons allows for massive charges on turn 2.Hope this explained everything.
