I have read some of the black library books but everyone else seems to know what happened to them? How or where do they get this information? I would love to read up more on stuff I apparently missed.

Horus is obviously dead. Sanguinius was killed by him just before the Big E got owned by Horus then kills his favourite son. Guilliman is dead. He has a shrine in which his body can be seen. SM codex, pg 15.

Leman Russ is unknwon. 5 years after Emperor taks the Throne, he tells everyone he is leaving, takes his entire retinue, minus Bjorn the Fellhanded, and says they will be back for Wolf Time.

Khan is rumoured to have disappeared intot he Webway.

Vulkan. Part of the Salamanders is finding the artifacts that were his, and then the missing Primarch will come back.

Corax did a "Corax, Awaaaaaaay" after shooting up mutant RG.

Dorn is dead. dead, dead, dead.

Angron is a DP or khorne, and even attacked Armeggedon( 1st war)

Motarion was poned by Draigo. DP of Nurgle.

Magnus took his entire legion into the Warp, and is a DP of Tzeentch.

Fulgrim is possessed by a Daemon, turns traitor and kills Guilliman later.

Ferrus manus'position is quite clear from reading Fulgrim.

Lion is Rummoured to be sleeping under The Rock, deep inside the catacombs.

Alpharius or omegon was rumoured to be killed by Guilliamn, but whther it was Alpharius or Omegon, or even either of them, is unknown.

Guilliman is not actually dead. Just wounded by the same weapon that nearly took down Horus, and then stuck in a stasis field in a 'nearly dead' state. Obviously that doesn't make much of a difference as to his availability for parties, but there it is.

That is not fact. That is rumour and speculation based on the fact his wounds APPEAR to be healing. they may be, or they may not. Either way, untill GW says otherwise, he is dead. Throat slashed right to the spinal cord.

Guilliman is still alive, but he would die the second he is removed from his stasis field.

Where does it say that? its not in the codex fluff. the codex says he is rumoured to be alive and healing.

You forgot about Redacted by order of the Inquisition who was last seen Redacted by order of the Inquisition with Redacted by order of the Inquisition. And, don't forget Redacted by order of the Inquisition who fought alongside the Redacted by order of the Inquisition against the Redacted by order of the Inquisition and managed to Redacted by order of the Inquisition.
