I did not vote because I am not sure what a blood angle is.

But I do play:

Blood Angels
Space Wolves (played my first game using them on wednesday)
Space Marines (my own chapter)

Necrons- Now that they have re-awoken they shall rule the world.
BA- Knights of Blood- Love the fluff of a IoM army that could cause an inquisition just by showing up to save mans sorry butt... Plus the fact that with SM you can mix and match your models to fit how you want your army to look is always fun.

Vanilla Space marines
Eldar
Imperial Guard (still working on them).
Grey Knights.

The first two because I started in RT and it was either them or orks - and I don't like orks.
Started IG in 1993 and am still working on them (painting and assembling).
Started GK with the 3rd ed codex. Added three units to them with the new codex. At over 5000pts, it's done now.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

Tyranids and Eldar were my main Armies after I shelved my Necrons during 5th. Now that Necrons have their new Dex, I'm sure they will become my most played army.

I started off with Necrons before they were cool. Then got a bit bored of the paint scheme and switched to eldar. After getting over 4000 points, I decided it was time for another army, so I went to Dark Angels. Now I'm thinking of going back and fixing the horrible paint jobs on my eldar.

I like to imagine the Emperor kills so many Orks that he ends up half buried beneath a pile of corpses, with only his head sticking out. A lone grot stumbles across him, and starts choking him.

Then Horus comes across the lone grot, somehow managing to kill the Emperor, and punts it into space.

My main army is Daemons (yes, honestly - guess I'm a sucker for liking the underdog)
Since the Ward Knights codex dropped and took a giant crap all over my army however, I've started adding some spiky marines and I'm going to try a Daemon Bomb.
So I'm now working on my version of Hakanor's Reavers which will feature alot of daemons. (even though the lesser kind are pretty bad. )

I've also started a BA army - Knights of Blood! I'm going for the 'knightly' theme with mine, incorperating lots of dark angel & a few templar bits as well.
To play on their 'renegade' status, my death company will be painted like the chaos codex version. (but without the jugger head chapter icon)

I'm also slowly building up the bitz & models for a White Scars army.

rainbow dashing to your side

all save for crons, normal marines, wolves and dangels simply because I think that crons look stupid and have dumb fluff, normal marines are dull, wolves make drago look normal in terms of fluff and rules and dangels just never apealed to me.

nids were my first but they dont see much action due to the new dex, blood angels I love as they look cool and the rules are nice, same goes for their fluff.

sisters are my underdog army that I love to beat people with, same goes for my tau

orks were a result of black reach but their so funny I couldnt resist having an army

eldar because I LOVE the idea of a wraith army and also jetbikes, deldar because the models are simply nerdgasmic

greyknights because I wanted to make an admech army, because I love the admech

and slaaneshi marines, guard and daemons because I love slaanesh far too much for my own good

....think that covers everything

when it comes to an army for me the most important aspects are: is the fluff good, are the rules good and are the models going to look cool and be fun to build ^^

my little space marine army, now 20% cooler http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/424613.page

Eldar: Tar Valon, the remnants of a destroyed Craftworld fighting to survive. My first army, I picked them mostly because they looked cool
Dark Angels: The Knights of Bone, a successor chapter led by a mysterious Master who legends claim has led the Chapter since it was formed during the Ninth Founding. They mostly exist because I had troops sitting around from Black Reach and Macragge that I wanted to do something with.
Chaos Marines: The Myrmidons, a Tzeentchian warband gathered together by a powerful sorcerer and Fallen Angel who mostly hunt treasures and ancient knowledge. They came into being because I liked the versatility of the CSM rules as compared to other armies.
Dark Eldar: The Kabal of the Green Eagle, led by an ancient Archon old enough to remember the Fall who is disgusted at what his people have become and wishes to reclaim their former glory; sort of a dark-side Biel-Tan concept. They exist because I liked the new Scourges, mostly.
Grey Knights: The Deathwatch Guard, the descendants of an ancient expedition cut off by a Warp storm in a fringe cluster not long after the Heresy that developed independently of the rest of the Imperium for thousands of years. They sprang from the fluff, mostly.

Balanced Game: Noun. A game in which all options and choices are worth using.
