I was wondering if I could make an own successor chapter within the Blood Angel Army. because I've played with the vanilla marine codex for a little while and I've just picked up on BA. and I was wondering if i could just switch the codex.

Of course you can. As long as you go WYSIWYG its ok. My blog has green blood angels.

Yep, any marines can use any of the marine codices basically. Just need the right equipment shown on the model.

Of course if you're using something like Ultramarines (8th company, as an example, fits this better than the standard codex) as Blood Angels, be sure the opponent knows which codex you're using.

As others have said, you can paint your marines any colour you want and use any SM codex you want, so long as the models are WYSIWYG.

Yes, and a tip for you. Most BA successors will be 9th founding or earlier. After that the BA geneseed was almost never used for new chapters due to the RT and BR, although it is still possible. Just a wee tip I thought might be useful for you!

Ok thanx guys! A coincidence is that my army already has black with red color scheme, so that is pretty neat. (darker red then death company)
