I've always felt like the universe of Dune was never too so far from the universe of 40k that they would be terribly out of place, and I've been wanting to make a unit of Fremen for a long while now. Trouble is, I can't seem to find the right army to do it. Therefore, I'm writing up my own rules and just using them like that. I doubt they'll be terribly overpowered, but then the Fremen really shouldn't be particularly intimidating outside of their home turf.

Fremen Warrior: WS:4, BS:4, S:3, T:3, W:1, I:4, A:1, Ld: 8, SV: 5+ Rending, Infiltrators, Move Through Cover, Acute Senses. Las-pistol, CCW
Fremen Fedaykin: WS:5, BS:4, S:4, T:3, W:1, I:5, A:2, Ld: 8, SV: 5+(i) Fearless, Fleet, Rending, Deep Strike, Move Through Cover, Acute Senses (Squad Leaders can have PW). Las-pistol, CCW
Great Worm: WS:4, BS:/, S:10, T:10, W:6, I:2, A:5, Ld: 8 Monstrous Creature, Can Ram as a Tank, in which case it is treated as having Front Armor 14. Can transport up to 12 Warriors or Fedaykin

This is just a quick starter, and I'm not really sure on points, but it'll be fun to play with a bit. I'll post when I have models done for each squad.

Just some quick ideas. I can already picture the Worm with guardsmen rallying around it! Totally rad!
