Hi, at my local Gw they are having a conversion compititon. Since I need a big mek I choose to scratchbuild one for the compitition;


The front, choose to do something different - (the tentacle wire lower body)
He had an accident a while ago and blew hiself up


The back - with kuston force feild (will add more wiring)

Well It's a very nice idea and what you have so far is very cool, I think I can sort of see where you were going with this one.

Legs-I would advise that I think the wires underneath look too much like wires it kinda looks like he's only half finished his wiring and is moving around on a giant spring like zebidy from the magic roundabout, I'd bulk them up a little bit or add some in different poses to indicate that they are marching forward, maybe add little feet to them?
Claw- I'd add big spikey claw blade bits to the power fist, make it look a little bit more like a GW orky power claw you know?
Arms-I'd give some serious consideration to some hydraulics for the arms, I find it ridiculous that orks are expected to use these heavy waepons wearing a powered suit without some muscular backup for their arms...
KFF Maybe add some beads or plastic balls to those screws?

And finaly maybe think about adding an iron gob like they have on the mega armour to hide his chin, this would give the front plate a bit of interest as it looks very flat at the moment.
