the weathering/damage on the sword looks great imo.
I like the dirty/muddy kind of look of the whole mini (did you use devlan mudwash on it?)
Post a pic with the arm up, that will give the boy a whole new look.
Somethings you need to work on are the hair and eyes; the head and base will be the first thing that someone see you try to make them 'pop' a bit more than the rest.
I'd definately check out a tutorial though! Send me a PM if and when you make one!
. Give it a nice basing as well, seems a shame to waste a nice model on a plain black one.
