Found this link on a history site I have book marked. Some of the colour shots look almost modern: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2075565/Vivid-new-Battle-Bulge-photos-offer-seen-look-war-weary-soldiers-braving-frigid-weather-fight-Nazi-Germanys-major-offensive-World-War-II.html

Live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about his religion. Respect others in their views and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life. Beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and of service to your people. When your time comes to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home.

What an awesome collection of shots! Some, like the German soldiers carrying the dead Marine, really hit me quite hard.

Thanks for sharing dude!

Marines didn't fight in Europe Sarp...left hand talking again? Winters and quite a few of the original company went back to Bastogne a few years back. I also (Swear on my wings) mentored a young specialist that was promoted to E5 on my last tour in Afghanistan who's last name is Guarnere who's great uncle is Guarnere himself. That was an interesting homecoming.
