Just recently got into painting miniatures. Painted a squad of grey knights and decided to try my hand at the slightly converted Brother-Captain Stern model.
I think the paint is a bit thick on his armor, but thanks to a guide by "Catattafish" was able to make the hammer look great!
Soo... any suggestions on making the paint look "smoother"?

Watering down your paints will help a lot. Pretty cool model BTW!

Yes, as UnCool Villain said, thin down your paints ever-so-slightly with water. Usually a 1:1 ratio of paint to water is sufficient.

Also, maybe invest in some Citadel Washes: Badab Black will make your models look 10 times better!

Well done on the thunder hammer though! It looks awesome!

YES!!! it will be the best investment you will ever make. I won't lie... my stuff wouldn't look half as good if I hadn't used Washes.

Hey, thanks for the tip!

I actually Have that wash, as i was ganna try to do squads with the "purifier style" white helms with black wash.
