Has anyone tried this? My buddy and I were kicking around ideas last night about how to use them since there cool looking. Ok take 2 squads of 4 Grots with Urien and a Haemmy ancient in raiders. Move 12 forward and deploy everyone out front to make a line similar to killer kans. Than move them down the field providing cover and smashing transports and things as they go. S7 attacks on the charge is nothing to sneeze at. Keep venoms and raiders behind them moving and shooting. what do you guys think? I think it would be funny to wreck peoples rhinos and things with my ogre hulks running down the field.

Id love to see it in play, but it would never work out as planned. LOL However as a fun game as it would be im all for it. Id love to see a list you make for it. LOL

I've tried it once. It's just...slow and expensive in points (and monies), both of which are very anti DE. They are resilient for sure.

doesn't seem that expensive its comparable to a good squad of incubi. I mean I don't expect to win tourneys with it but It would be funny

I know natfka ( http://natfka.blogspot.com/ ) Uses them for a WWP portal delivery system and I've had good success with this as well. Using them as a cover wall I think you would have to comit to the theme. All foot, with WWP to help mobility and deployment issues, and heaven of the interwebs forbid Mandrakes. A group of ten Mandrakes outflanking should push your opponent towards the middle and allow the grots an easier time to catch up to them. I would also sprinkle in a healthy amount of haywire from scourges and Talos to keep things suppressed as your grots work their way towards them. If done properly I think you'll have better success then many might think.

I was trying to do it without the wwp. I mean once you get them 14 in out (12 move 2 deployment) than either assault or run to cover more ground
