Shine a green light through it to make "Ghost of Tank." It does rather look like it should glow in the dark. Looks incredibly graceful next to that BF half-track as well.

Very nice. It would make a nice companion piece for my Peter Pig Maus.

I'd probably count it as a Konig Tiger in Flames of War like I do with my Maus.

If I recall correctly, the "Lion" ended up contributing a great deal to the design "Bengal Tiger", including being an overweight kitty.

I would definitely buy one of these, as kind of mid-war monsters fun to own and occasionally play.

EDIT - Would you consider doing a few of these for us Dakkanauts? Obviously I would pay you for it, as it is a lovely model.

I found a nice comparison picture for the Lowe, E100 and Maus.



A shame the Tiger II and E75 are not also in this comparison as they're more in line with the Lowe.

When was this thing developed? Did it ever see combat?

If it was a "monster" in Flames of War, what do you think its stats would be?

My group is thankfully very much okay with using Mid War monsters or other things to make games more interesting. Since several of us play world of tanks as well, a game where this vehicle is infamous in, using it on the table would be fun regardless of its actual effectiveness.

Heck, I could probably use it in place of a Tiger.

imo, BF made one huge mistake when they published Mid-War Monsters. They wrote up fictitious histories for all of the vehicles instead of putting down the actual histories. Ironically, most if not all of the Axis vehicles in Mid-War Monsters actually did see a fair amount of combat while most of the Allied vehicles didn't. A good-sized chunk of the Monsters are now available in historical lists, albeit not always in Mid-War.

No it was abandoned before the prototype stage.

My guess is that its stats would be comparable to the King Tiger with the exception that it is packing a L/70 105mm gun (So add Breakthrough gun and upgrade the firepower rating to 2+) and only has 120mm of frontal armour (So front armour 12). The L/37 150mm gun would be a better StuH 43 as fitted to the Brummbar (So something like Range: 24" RoF: 1 AT: 14 Firepower: 1+ Bunkerbuster).

I'm not sure what else these guns were fitted to so it's difficult to gauge stats.

I would say the LOWE would be FP 2+, and just base it on a 88mm, with a huge range. As even though it's a large calibre gunsystem, its a rifled AT gun and not an artillery piece, so I would suggest a massive range, low rate of fire, and high Fire power and excellent accuracy. 100cm range, FP 2+, ROF 2, would seem a reasonable start?

Add to this some mechanical defect/ unreliable special rule, e.g before it moves it must roll a D6, on a roll of 6 it's immobilised for the rest of the battle.

And here is comment #1 The gun isn't long enough. Aside from that it is a beautiful model. If you do wind up making some for us dakkanauts I'd be very interested in getting one

yes, this gun is small, but when you see the other gun this is a big one. Its from the E100 a 150 mm gun, thats is BIG .

When the löwe is ready for sale i give you an info.

Going by the gun specs (Calibre x L) I get this for sizes:

105 L/70 = 7.35m long (73.5mm in scale)
150 L/37 = 5.55m long (55.5mm in scale)

The 150 gun should be noticeably smaller at least noticeably shorter. Note that the above measurements do not equate directly to visible barrel length on the model.

Excellent model there, really looks cool. (and yes, as a WoT player, I approve)

It'd make a great KT stand in, or for more realistic stats with roughly the same cost as a KT do something like

FA 12
S/R A 8
RoF 2
AT17 (it's got a 10.5cm gun on it, bigger than the KT's)
Firepower 2+, Breakthrough Gun
Slow Tank, Protected Ammo, Wide Tracks, Unreliable, Slow Traverse.

I'd definitely pick one up

WoT is great fun. I would love to see a 40K Mod , imagine all the Forge World stuff....

The tank comes with two kanonen one you see on the picture and a second one.The kanonen are made with metal the tank is resin.

When you order a Löwe until 04.03.12 one tank cost 15€ . Shipping is world wide 3,50 for 1-3 Löwe. If you take four Löwe there are no shipping cost.

After this time the price goes up to 16,80 €

You are an Awesome man, more late war monsters please; maybe your version of a Maus, Ferdinand and Elephant and some of the random British, Yank and Russkie tanks that never saw the light of day.
