Hi everyone,
I've lurked here for a few months, but felt compelled to finally make an account. I'm a long time video game veteran who has been slowly getting into wargaming over the past year or so. I started with books from the Black Library, got to know the WH40k lore in depth, and recently started collecting and painting models. I've been working on putting Assault on Black Reach together, but I've been researching Chaos armies the entire time as well (sorry worshippers of the corpse-god). There's so much to take in with this hobby that I'm glad there's resources out there like Dakka and Reddit, where noobs can get their questions answered.
I'm an American, but I've been living and studying in Leipzig, Germany for a while. We have a pretty active Games Workshop here, but the average age isn't quite as high as I'd like. AFAIK there aren't many local gaming stores, here either. If there's anyone from the area who likes to play casually, we can definitely set something up. Deutsch oder Englisch, macht für mich keinen Unterschied  .
I look forward to contributing to the community and learning more about Warhammer in the process!
