Sacrifice to the Dark God Tzeentch

I wonder why Nurgle nemesis is Tzeentch and not Slaanesh. Slaanesh consider pleasure, Lust, perfection and hedonismas, while Nurgle represents decay, despair and pestilence.

Also it´s described many times that Khorne doesn´t like sorcerers but still he got Slaanesh as nemesis, and not Tzeentch

I know that all Chaos gods is enemies of each other but still, it´s kind of a fail that Nurgles nemesis is Tzeentch, while Khorne hate sorcerers.

so in my opinion, The nemesis of Nurgle shall be Slaanesh, and the opposite of Khorne shall be Tzeentch. right?

“Do not ask which creature screams in the night. Do not question who waits for you in the shadow. It is my cry that wakes you in the night, and my body that crouches in the shadow. I am Tzeentch and you are the puppet that dances to my tune...”

Get the old Realm of Chaos books and have a read, they explain it far better than the recent texts.

According to the Dark Heresy books, Nurgle is the opposite of Slaanesh, but I thought the established set of oppositions was Khorne versus Tzeench, Khorne versus Slaanesh, Nurgle chilling in the corner.

Yeah Nurgle is more then just decay, that's just the side effect.
Nurgle is about lasting longer, staying as you are even as you rot away, you are over staying your time.
And since Tzeenech is change, always trying new ways,it is pretty much the Anti-Nurgle.

I'm pretty sure slannesh would love it if nurgle popped one of his bumps and all the pus flew on him, he would would rub it all over his body.

As others have already said, read the Realm of Chaos books (or failing that, the Liber Chaotica); they explain the Chaos Gods far better than any current material.

Tzeentch will occasionally get placed opposite of Khorne. I think some of the old Epic material did it, for instance. The rationale given is always magic (psykers) versus Khorne's hatred of magic/psykers. I suspect that the Nurgle/Slaanesh pairing ended up largely because they weren't Tzeentch and Khorne. But the predominance of fluff is that it's Nurgle vs. Tzeentch and Khorne vs. Slaanesh. And as others have noted, the old Realms of Chaos books were pretty clear on why that was.

Filipstad, Sweden.

On the outside that makes sense but taking into account the indepth iconography of the chaos gods and what they stand for slaanesh v khorne and nurgle v tzeentch are almost exact opposites.

Having said that, that didnt stop me from making a nurgle+tzeentch demon army.

Its more like the Chaos gods each have 2 enemy gods with one being the primary.

Khorne's primary enemy is Slannesh. Khorne is about experiencing martial perfection, Slannesh is about experiencing everything, hence they are opposite. Specilist vs Generalist. Khorne's secondary enemy is Tzeentch. Magic vs Good Old Crumping. Cunning vs utter brutality.

Nurgle's primary enemy is Tzeentch. Nurgle is about persistance, entropy, and maintanance of what is. Tzeentch is flux, change, and new things. Nurgle's secondary enemy is Slannesh. Nurgle grants his followers immunity to pain, Slannesh changes pain into pleasure.

Slannesh is directly opposed to Khorne and secondly opposed to Nurgle.

Tzeentch is directly opposed to Nurgle as before. Secondly he is opposed to everyone and no one at the same time. cause thats how he rolls

There is also the allied matrix. Tzeentch is more likely to ally with Slannesh because they do not have opposing powers. Nurgle and Khorne the same thing.

Khorne's sense of martial pride is offended by the prancing foppery of Slaanesh.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.

Yah, in the old codex I read it was Slaanesh Vs. Khorne Nurgle Vs. Tzeench

but other places say Tzeench Vs. Khorne Nurge Vs. Slaanesh.

Its weird but, so are the chaos gods.

Yes, then he starts beating Slannesh up. Which Slannesh enjoys immensly, thus goading Khorne to greater acts of violence, which Slannesh enjoys immensly, thus goading....
