In my current deathwing army i run a unit of 3 bikes with 2 meltas and a powerwepon/ meltabombs Sgt .Bumping the unit size up to six would it be beneficial to have the sgt have a power fist instead of a power weapon ?

I'd say so. The type of units you will be using your Melta weapons against will also be threatened by a power fist.
Peace Out!

How do you use them? I suppose they are a suicide squad which wouldn't survive in cc in any case. Else they are just teleport homer, where they will always protected by deathwing models.
I assume you are not taking Sammael.
I say take it if you really are going for a six man squad, this seems a little excessive.

It will be benificial as your Sgt. only has a BP. You aren't losing out on any attacks and if you are taking vehicles then PW won't help with vehicles that much.

In a unit of 6 models having the PF is useful. You don't loose any attacks my taking it on a biker IIRC and you have enough extra models to allocate wounds to if you really need them to rush a vehicle and destroy it.

Having a PF in a bike squad can be highly beneficial. Especially against vehicles, if your lucky enough for them to have not moved. I bring one every game with my Scars and so far he has popped many transports. I've learned the hard way that you should avoid dreds though if your using the PF. The dred will inflict major damage since he gets to strike first. Only reason to take Melta bombs over the PF would be to strike at a higher I against dreds and such that could actually hurt in CC. Other wise definitely take the PF to reap the benifits of extra attacks. If you dont expect to see many vehicles then its pointless to have the PF unless you need to ID a few models.
