I'm thinking of building a fluffy Inuqisitor-henchmen themed GK army, but to be totally honest, I'm not a huge fan of many of those models. What I've been thinking of is modeling and painting them as a Chaos cult or something along those lines, and everything would be themed accordingly. Does anyone have any ideas for the following:

Jokaeros - I love the rules but HATE the monkeys. The best idea I've had for these is some sort of Spawn-looking thing, but it could also be real cool to have it maybe as some Machine Spirit got berserk, but how best to show it?

Psykers - Nothing terribly wrong here, just bland models. Anyone know of any better options?

Warrior Acolytes - I'm getting them in power armor, so Space MArine models are a nice place to start, but how best to fancy them up?

Death Cult Assassins - I actually have an idea for this one, I think. How do Wych bodies with swords from DArk Elf Corsairs sound?

um... my computer?

I love the Death Cult idea, as long as you shave some of the scale armor to make them look less "eldar".

For the Warriors, use space marine bodies and fantasy heads from militia or other troops choices. Not the ones with hats and feathers, but the simple ones with beards or even the small skull caps. Used those for my OLD Demon Hunters army and thought they looked great. Just take off the chest eagle and replace it with scrolls or purity seals.

Im afraid Im not help with the Jokaeros and Psykers. Im with you on the monkey models though. They are terriable. Best of luckk and let us know what you decide on.

For the Jokes, how about Techpriests or some other (Dark) Mechanicus agent?

On Psykers, what are you looking for? Something crazed like empire flagellants or something more orderly such as hooded figures?

Well, with the theme, it kind of depends.

My first idea has been the Chaos cult sort of thing. With Coteaz and my Ordo Malleus Inquisitor as the preacher and enforcer respectively.

If that was the case, I would imagine hooded figures would look good for the psykers. Almost like a coven of mages, for lack of a better term.

But I also really am digging on kenshin's idea and maybe expand the Dark Mechanicus idea outward. It could be interesting to have the psykers look almost 'wired' together to represent the collective psychic attacks. But how to do that...
