I'm always a little surprised at how many fictional woman warriors believe that it's a good idea to charge into battle wearing nothing but a sword and a pair of boots. I suppose sexuality is as good as a piece of trusty armor? ha ha

That said, the model looks great and is well painted.. as a side note, I like the cap.

I love that the shading on the base is the best part here.

LOL you are all cracking me up!

I picked her up and painted her because she was so ridiculous right down to her name. She was at my local game shop and I would laugh and point at her every single time i went in there. I finally broke down and just bought her. It took me about 3-4 days to paint her up.

Lovely paint job, shame the model isnt to my taste.

The skin looks a little rough from the photos? Other than that shes looking good, the base is very nice

As nice as the paint job is nude models just make me think of fat smelly horny people.

How did you do the hair? I've been painting a few Sodapop's and normally default to blonde as I can do that quite well. I may try your red method if you'd share.....................

It's a Base of Vallejo Orange then a wash or two of Vermillion then Orange again on the raised areas (no dry brushing) Just paint each of those areas. I also like to try and blend the base color into the shadow color if possible. Then the same with a mix of orange and light orange. and then some light orange just on some of the raised areas.
I might have also used some ivory mixed with the light orange in the highlights but I can't remember. I use what ever I think will work honestly.

Also my paints are pretty thin, I always add acrylic medium and water to them So they are thin but not as thin as a typical wash because i want the paint to stay where i put it and not run into the creases. So it usually takes a few layers of each color to get what i want. I have many different shades of the same colors and almost all Vallejo paints (All the lines: game/model/etc..) I have a couple of P3 pots as well.


Can't wait to see your Soda Pop miniatures! I also have a couple more to paint up thanks to Xmas.

Sorry Boys but this Girl paints a lot of half nude models like this one.
I love Renaissance paintings and when I paint miniatures I paint to create a masterpiece. I love creating art and I paint what inspires me at the time.

Right now i'm working on something neither nude nor female It really is all about inspiration.
