Aha, well I had never seen the Epicast model before, I have just googled it.

MLaw Im always up for submissions but I cant afford to pay! The Boom Wagon was made by a friend of mine in exchange for casts. So if you want casts of your stuff please message me.!

After I get moved I might take you up on that. I would be happy to make a few more 2nd ed/Epic inspired vehicles similar to this one.

It's an old question, at what point does Future Space Knight with Large Shoulder Pads become a space marine?

At what point does Intergalactic Biplane became an x-wing?

At what point does Scrap Metal Artillery Truck become an Ork Spleen Ripper (or whatever it was called).

It's the difference between photocopying Lord of the Rings (illegal), writing your own fantasy book (legal) and writing a fantasy book about a group of midgets going to throw a ring into a volcano (grey).

Generally in the U.S. courts are very permissive, unless you're clearly using a character from another work, or literally recasting someone else's sculpt they're unlikely to find a copyright infringement.

Inspiration has to come from somewhere after all.

Right, now we've had the seemingly obligatory "IP Rant" that seems to keep cropping up these days...could we maybe go back to talking about Ramshackle's releases?

Personally, love the Boomwagon, and will be ordering one post Xmas...

I have to ask...is that a crashed land speeder in the background?

Very cool. I have a jetbike racing ruleset called 'Burners', I may need to get in on these for that purpose.

I'm interested in the jetbike, though worried it'll turn out to be priced like Maxmini and everybody else's ยฃ10 per bike (and therefore somewhat unaffordable for large squads).

Jetbikes? Sounds interesting. Do you have the component pictures as well like you do with most stuff? My mind is already trying to come up with some combinations.

Also, guys.. come on.. it wasn't an IP rant.. once I realized it wasn't a recast I backed off.. so srsly get off my nuts. I was one of the artists in the Chapterhouse case, I'm all about freedom with IP. Don't know how many ways I can spell that out.

EDIT: I just saw some of the other replies.. I agree on the pricing. Ramshackle is pretty good about pricing (it's why they use the cat pee smelling resin). I'm looking at Star Wars type stuff as well as something bigger where a few of the components could be repurposed to make a grav APC..
I believe the downed "speeder" is their helicopter model.

Whoops, I didn't mean to suggest I developed them! I acquired a preview pdf, doesn't look like they're out for general release yet.

Here's the company that wrote them, might be worth a try contacting them for a copy.

I can see ti now, some imperious sounding guy stands up and shouts into the micropphone "Welcome to the Junk-fest 2000 races! if all the racers are ready,,,Let the pigeons loose!"

They seem some fun bikes, and such to make and paint.

These look great.

I don't really need junk jet bikes, but the parts look like they would be amazing conversion fodder for terrain building.

Will have to consider backing just for the terrain potential!

The first addition to the campaign went up today. Its a goblin rider. I will be sculpting a whole load of new parts over the course of campaign based on suggestions by the backers.

Would you consider a gyrocopter rear section? I think it would open up the flood gates for Orks and fantasy Dwarves..

Its a good idea yes, but Im worried that the rotor blades will be a bit weak. Anyway, cant you just use jet bikes instead of copters? How about VTOL hovver bikes?

The bit about fantasy dwarves hitching a ride was sort of there to help out with the intent. I have so many AoBR Deffkoptas I'm set for a long time but I was also looking out for others who might want to stay closer to the fluff than the codex entry. I forgot for a moment that your resin is even more brittle than typical resin so yeah.. it's not going to work.

We are going to be updating the web shop to new software this weekend. Please contact me here or by email if you have any issues wink emoticon

so my guess is the new software isn't working right or it is and you're stuck with an old register somewhere in your machine/ISP (as with the mantic forum change a year or two ago)
