I thought the rules for the renegade knight had already been in WD?

The first 2 lines under Renegade Knights on the first picture in the first post of this page specifically says that those rules are for Warhammer 40,000. You might need to zoom in to read it (or get the actual printed copy), but it's there.

I would be likely to download and have a read of the rules, if they were available. Might even buy a knight. I don't need/want two of them.

No idea if this is temporary or if we will see another print run. It is listed as "no longer available" though.

I'm screaming at myself, had been holding off buying this. It's now sold out everywhere including ebay!

If I had realised it was going to have such a short shelf life I would have brought it as soon as it came out.

Does this mean the likes of overkill and death masque are going to become unavailable sooner rather than later?

I guess it's time for me to raise the price on the one I've got for sale!

I recently got renegade and the ik codex from dicehead for about the msrp is... I've got everything magnetized and primed..

Swung by the local GW store and ZERO copies of IK:R on the shelf!

Yup, about 6 months back GW stopped doing the "while supplies last" thing for almost every thing they did for a short print. There are still limited supply of books like collector numbered editions and such, and because of print runs I am sure the data card packs are still like that as well. BUT supposedly now there is a 90 clock on every thing not part of the main lines. They review sales during the 90 day and choose to extend the clock or let it go away after the 90 days are up. So no more plasma turret tower or shield generator crap like the last few years where no one could get a hold of it with out being held for ransom. Pretty sure Renegade is past that 90 mark.
