Title says it. I think not, since it's a shooting attack and the character doesn't have a special rule that says he can (e.g. skirmisher). However, everyone seems to simply do it without thinking. What do you think?

Skirmishers are the only ones that can march and shoot, and if the one carrying isn't skirmishing, then no, no march and shoot,

Silly mice, you don't actually walk the doomrocket to firing position, you use Skitterleap and teleport there!

EDIT: Ahhh... aren't solo models (including solo characters) considered skirmishers?

Solo models are not skirmishers in 8th.

You also dont both skitterleaping, as the DR is a great example of binomial approximation to the normal distribution. Generally 21inches is about the right distance away, using 7 dice

I got skitterrocketed recently. He skittered, fired, and overshot by 12" off the board. Then my sabretusk had a light snack

:: shrugs:: hellpits are bad. 2-point core infantry is bad. Plague is bad. The doomrocket is bad. The stormbanner is bad. It's no single thing that breaks them. But anyway, topic answered and we don't want to stray too far.
