When you take Anrakyr the traveller one unit of necron Imortals is automatically upgraded to Pyrrhian Eternals, would you still be able to attach a member of the royal court now they are no longer Imortals?
If so would attached members of the royal court benifit from the Furious Charge and Counter Attack universal special rules that Pyrrhian Eternals have?

I think so, the Anrakyr page states that Pyrrian eternals are still treated as immortals apart from their additional special rules. So I would say that you are allowed to attach members of a royal court to the squad.

Yeah, you should still be able to (I do) because Anrakyr's rule for the Pyrrhian upgrade states that you treat the Eternals as Immortals for all other purposes. Hence, you can attach Crypteks, just as those Eternals are still a scoring unit.

I think that's something that they are going to have to FAQ, but for now I'd be tempted to say no, just to be on the safe side so that you're not giving a model a rule that it doesn't have. And as it is the immortals that are being upgraded to Pyrrians and not the member of the royal court, I would say that this would be the case.

Yeah, the rule just says that the Pyrrhian models get the rules; I don't think the Eternals upgrade says that the entire unit gets the rule.

That means just the models it's effecting (ie. the immortals) gain the USRs.

Furious charge is on a model by model basis so the lord does not benefit from it.

Counter-attack however, is a unit special rule (ie. it uses the phrase "the unit" instead of "models"). It is also one of the rules that is not lost when an IC without it joins a unit with it.

Counter-attack then says "the entire unit gains +1 attack as if it too had assaulted that turn" so the lord gets a bonus attack from counter-attack. Unless I've missed something someplace...

^ That sounds about right to me. I forgot that Counter-Attack benefits the entire unit.
