I really like this green, both a Sons of Horus pre-heresy marines and for some Guardians for an Eldar army. Unfortunately I have no idea how I would achieve it or even where to start. Any help would be appreciated!

(Also, should 40k specific painting questions be in this forum? or in the 40k one?)

I would probably do a commando kaki base, then wash with watered down green wash until the colour looked right.

A light grey/grey tan base with green wash over it should give that kind of pale green.

Found some other pics with that same green that could help find the colour you're looking for.





My guess is that it looks like Dark Angels Green basecoat, Rotting Flesh layered over top and Skull White drybrushed over that.

Maybe add small amounts of green to rotting flesh, or watered down green wash over rotting flesh?
