I am debating to sell my old Destroyer Wing with the advent of the new codex. I waited as the laughing stock of 40k long enough, but now I don't think I can make my Necron list into a strong one without buying an entire new army.

Here is what I own:

Deceiver
Lord
Destroyer Lord
30 Necron Warriors
15 Destroyers
9 Heavy Destroyers
2 Monoliths

Thoughts? Honestly, should I just sell them?

Trying to go off of what you have as much as possible, here's what I came up with. It's not the most competitive list, but it's got plenty of anti-tank and some decent threats. So for 1750 points we have:

HQ:
Necron Overlord (180 pts)
-Mindshackle Scarabs, Phaeron, Resurrection Orb, Sempiternal Weave, Warscythe

Troops:
15 x Warriors (195 pts)

5 x Warriors (65 pts)

5 x Warriors (65 pts)

5 x Warriors (65 pts)

Fast Attack:
5 x Destroyers (3 Heavy, 2 Standard) (260 pts)

5 x Destroyers (3 Heavy, 2 Standard) (260 pts)

5 x Destroyers (3 Heavy, 2 Standard) (260 pts)

Heavy Support

You want to put your Overlord in the big Warrior squad so they're benefiting from the Orb and Phaeron, while the chump squads support and go for objectives. The Heavy Destroyers shoot holes in tanks, the standard Destroyers function as ablative Wounds. Monoliths (ideally) soak fire and give your Warriors mobility (portal) while dishing out some return fire. I couldn't find a good way to make the Destroyer Lord and C'Tan mesh well with this list, sorry. While it's not a horrible 1750 list I would work on getting some other units in (because those Destroyers are going to draw fire like flies to honey).

I could put my Scarabs together and give that a go.
