G'day "Dakkkarians" thanks for having me not sure if this is where it should be so please let me know if i mess up. That out of the way, I'm new to warhammer 40k and DakkaDakka. Aside from a few space marines i was gifted when i was 10 that is. Have just bought my self a chaos space marines battle force, marine lord with jump pack, defiler, terminator lord, predator, vindicator a chaos daemon bloodthirster and a nurgle daemon prince. Not sure if the last 2 models can be used with chaos marines as i haven't learnt any of the rules yet but they look sweet so i bought them.

I'm building a khorne world eaters army purely because the paint scheme ( i think ) makes them look beastly.
I'm hoping to post the photos of my finished army as soon as i can but with holidays over soon and going back to work might take a while. Please correct me if i stuffed anything up, still learning the rules to 40k and DakkaDakka but thanks anyway, thats my intro looking forward to coming back with some snap shots

Quick edit for anybody interested i should have stated before that i haven't yet bought the chaos codex or 40k rule books, I know i need too but you guys no doubt know how cash flow is. Wanted to spend the dollars i had on models to paint before books to read. Thus i may say ignorant things from time to time i apologize in advance.

Those daemons should be, if not you could use the blood thirster as a daemon prince. I'm not familiar with the chaos space marines but I'm pretty sure they have daemon princes so the nurgle model fits in easy.

I don't know all of the rules yet but I do think that the Bloodthirster and the Nurgle Prince can both be used in a CSM army.

For homzigh9 and WasteLord both- the answers you seek are in the Force Organization Chart towards the back of you Chaos Codex. But yes, you can use any Daemon Prince you want. I don't agree w/ the fluff aspect of having a Daemon Prince of Slaanesh leading a bunch of Khorne Berzerkers around, but that's what the (current) rules allow.

Read up on your Codex and feel free to ask questions. Someone will always step up and help you out.

in a csm army you can use the blood thirster as a greater daemon.

You can easily download a PDF of the codex just google it. thats how I did it the first time but then as i got some money i bought the actual codex and rule book.

Hey thanks for the advice and the welcome msg's. I found the codex mentioned now just have to learn it all, daunting. I also started a P&M post for anyone interested in how the baby chaos army is progressing. Again any comments or criticisms are welcomed. Thanks
