Hi All

I am having a slight thicko moment! Could you consider and advise the following scenario?!

Abbadon charges Crowe who goes into defensive stance, Abbadon gets 9 attacks (4 base - 4 on the D6 and 1 for charge) and hits with 5 of them. Being that Drachnyen and Horus' talon give Abbadon 5 S10 hits, would Crowe's artificer armour afford him inv saves? Or would he have 5 instant death hits delivered onto him? Can't remember if Crowe is an eternal warrior! It this is the case, how would you deal with the results?

Crowe has an iron halo...so 4 inv save...hes not EW but if in defence he rerolls his failed armor saves or he could use the rapier attack and hit that abomination at I10

As above, Crowe has an Iron Halo so he uses his 4+ invulnerable save, which he can re-roll with his parry stance.

Strength EIGHT hits, not 10! He rerolls to wound

Instant death has NO bearing on whether you get your armour save or not, absolutely none.

Artificer armour is a 2+ armour save, and Abaddon has a daemon weapon which is a power weapon, so no armour saves.

Crowe has an Iron Halo, so gets a 4+ invulnerable save. The defensive stance lets him reroll this save, as it specifies "saving throws"

He does not have EW

OR he can use Rapier, and do D3 attacks at I10. Given he is likely to die (5 wounds, any failed wound is death, 75% chance to save any single wound) he may as well try to attack first.

The defence stance lets you reroll inv saves...its worded so it covers both...also if abadon kills crowe he can hit him with his last strike and remove abadon on a 3+

I'd really love to see that fight made into a movie.

I would love to see Draigo vs Horus without the chaos powers to back him

Horus is still a primarch, so would have Draigo his ass

By fluff Draigo is a bad ass, he might not best Horus but there would be a cracked planet left after the fight.

He wouldnt best Horus, as Horus never became a Daemon, so Draigo has no inherent advantage over him.

Horus basically killed the Emperor... No way Draigo would even cripple Horus.

...The Emperor isn't "Dead" and i thought Horus had Chaos powers at that time. Also i thought the Emperor "killed" Horus, the Grey Knights are rumored to have the Emperors Gene Seed. I think Draigo would pull something out of his ass and win, barely but would win.

I'd use the defensive stance and hope you keep making your saves and bog Abbadon down and prevent him from killing anything else. Also remember Crowe has Heroic Sacrifice, so if he does die you can use a psychic test to try to take Abbadon with you.

well i actually had this fight last month, my chaos vs my friends GK, i charged crowe and wiped him out in a turn, and i dont think he is enternal warrior

Also adding to the Horus vs Draigo - Draigo wouldn't fare that long against the Primarch (with the Emporer's gene seed also but Primarch none the less) closest to the Emporer and the most powerful with and without chaos powers!

I agree, to state that "without his chaos powers" is unfair because thats what he has.

Without Chaos Powers means as a loyalist.
